Our goal is to have all orders submitted by 3.00pm on a business day dispatched same day. We use the following options for freight.
NZ Post Parcel Post Bags (Non Tracked) Envelopes up to Foolscap size (270mm x 380mm) Targeted delivery is 1-3 working days. Best suited for small items delivered to Rural Delivery addresses. These envelopes do not have a tracking feature.
New Zealand Couriers (Tracked) A range of envelopes and labels that allow us to move items up to approxiamtely 10kg overnight to all New Zealand business addresses. Also offer a Rural Delivery service at an extra fee.Best and most expensive service and targeted at businesses and city residential addresses who want the fastest service. All items are Tracked.
Post Haste Couriers (Tracked) A Range of freight options suitable for up to 25kg. Overnight service North Island and 2 day service to the South Island. Also offer a Rural Delivery service at an extra fee.Best for Larger items up to 25kg.
Mainfreight (Tracked) For Bulky and Heavy items we use Mainfreight Transport Ltd. We usually quote and charge for delivery to the nearest Mainfreight depot. We find it more economical and convenient for clients to collect direct from their nearest branch. There are massive differences in cost for the end delivery from each depot. We are happy to quote door to door on large items should you require.Please email us with your delivery address should you require this service.
Rural Delivery We use NZ Post Address finder to establish and verify your address. We get charged a premium by all courier companies except NZ Post Parcel Post for RD deliveries. Usually the courier comapnies pass the Rural delivery packages on to NZ Post's contractor to deliver anyway. You will need to allow up to 4 working days for Rural Deliveries. You may find it more economical and efficient to have your goods delivered to a known business address in a town or city and arrange collection from this point yourself.
Own Transport. Should you wish to arrange your own shiiping we will pack and label the goods for you as we would if we where arranging shipping. Once packed we will advise you that the goods are ready for collection and ask that you arrange with your shipper for collection.
Collection We offer a collection option from our sister business in Havelock North. To benefit from this you must have ordered and PAID FOR your goods before you arrive. Mower Parts Direct does not have retail payment facilities and if you arrive at our counter purchasing goods, you will be charged the retail prices that the retail business operates at.
Returns & Replacements
We offer a standard manufacturers warranty on Faulty goods. Generally this is 90 days on parts, 1-2 years on engines for domestic use and 3-6 months for commercial use. Warranty is for a fault in manufacture. It does not cover wear and tear, operator abuse or incorrect installation. In the case of a confirmed Manufacturers fault we reserve the right to replace or reimburse up to the inital value of the item purchased. We will not be held responsible for consequential damage. If in doubt please ask for clarification.
We are happy to accept for return any items within 10 working days should they not meet your requirements. These items must be brand new, unused and able to be resold. We will not reimburse for freight incurred. Our only exception to this policy is electrical goods. We will NOT provide refunds for any electrical items including but not limited to Starter motors, regulators, Coils and ignition systems, Switches. We have had instances of clients purchasing these items and using them to "TEST" the faults in their machine. We test all electrical items before they leave our business and offer a service to test regulators and Ignition systems.
